Elva Resa will publish Lizann Lightfoot’s “Open When: Letters of Encouragement for Military Spouses.” Slated for Fall 2021 release, the book is a collection of encouraging, informative letters for military spouses to read when facing challenges of military life. Known as The Seasoned Spouse for her encouraging blog, Lizann is Elva Resa’s newest military spouse author. Elva Resa Publishing is a traditional independent publisher specializing in books for and about military families.

The independent publishing community will join together to celebrate the best in independent book publishing at the “Shelter-in-Place” IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award™ Ceremony in four mini ceremonies, May 5, 6, 7, and 8, from 4 to 6 PM Pacific. Each mini ceremony will announce the gold and silver recipients from a selection of fifty-five award categories.

Elva Resa Publishing is among the publishers being honored. Its book Survivor’s Obligation: Navigating an Intentional Life by Chris Stricklin and Joel Neeb, is one of four finalists in the Autobiography & Memoir category, presented in the May 7 session.
