Caban, Davis, Hilton Participate in USAA Social Exchange Nov. 5-6, 2014

Angela Caban, Judy Davis, and Jeremy Hilton, coauthors of Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life, are among the military spouse key influencers invited to USAA Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, Nov 5-6, to attend the USAA Social Exchange 2014, USAA's fifth annual networking conference. The purpose of this annual event is to join a select community, military and industry influencers, to discuss how the participants can leverage their collective social networks to create shared value for military families.

Volkman Leads Sessions for Women Vet Entrepreneurs at V-WISE Nov. 2-3, 2014

Lori Volkman will lead two breakout sessions at the V-WISE National Graduate Training Conference in San Antonio, Texas, a conference for women veteran entrepreneurs, Nov. 2-3, 2014. She will lead a discussion on "Profit Begins With PR" on Nov 2 at 3:30 PM and Nov 3 at 12:30 PM, and "Ask A Lawyer" on Nov 3 at 9:30 AM.

Lori Volkman and Chris Pape, coauthors of Stories Around the Table: Laugher, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life will sign copies of the book on Sat., Nov. 1, 2014 from 2:30-3:30 PM Central at the Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio, Texas. USAA is sponsoring the book signing, providing 300 copies of the book to women veterans attending the Veteran Women Igniting The Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) conference. Books are free to conference participants.

Karen Pavlicin-Fragnito talks with Frank Gaffney on Secure Freedom Radio about the inspiration behind Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom and Strength in Military Life and what the 40+ authors hope will be the impact of the book for military families and civilian communities.
