Davis Speaks at MOAA/NDIA Warrior-Family Symposium Sept. 10, 2014

Author Judy Davis and her son Geoffrey Davis, cofounders of LivingThruCrisis.com, will present at the 2014 Warrior-Family Symposium (WFS) on Sept. 10, 2014 in Washington, DC.

Co-sponsored by the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), WFS will address the matters and needs that military service members, veterans, military families, and caregivers face when transitioning from the military into a civilian environment while managing challenges of combat or operational stress, mental health, or behavioral health care concerns.

Judy and Geoffrey are panelists for the session “Behavioral Health: Why Military Children & Families Matter to the Civilian Community” and will facilitate a breakout session on how to understand and help military children’s unspoken needs.
