Barnes Talks With Journalism Students at Baylor U Sept. 15, 2014

Author and newspaper columnist Terri Barnes returns to her alma mater, Baylor University in Waco, Texas, on Sept. 15, to talk to journalism students at the university about column writing, reporting, and building professional relationships. Terri will speak to the staff of the university’s student newspaper, The Lariat, and also to the Baylor chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. A cum laude graduate of Baylor, Terri studied journalism there and was a staffer and reporter for The Lariat as a student, as well as an SPJ member then and now.

Her talks will be held in Castellaw Communications Center on the Baylor campus.

Terri is the author of Spouse Calls: Messages From a Military Life and the editor of the Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life, due out in October 2014.
