  • Deborah Tainsh Signs Books at National Infantry Museum, Sept. 8, 2018

    Deborah Tainsh, Gold Star wife and mother and author of Heart of a Hawk and Surviving the Folded Flag will sign copies of her books in the lobby of the National Infantry Museum & Soldier Center on Sat., Sept. 8, 2018, beginning at noon Eastern. The booksigning and other events will follow the 11 AM rededication ceremony for the Global War on Terrorism Memorial at the museum in Columbus, Georgia, near Fort Benning. Gold Star family members will be honored guests at the ceremony.

  • Nina Crittenden Draws With Children at MN Children’s Book Festival, Sept. 15, 2018

    Nina Crittenden, illustrator of Cedric and the Dragon, will appear at the Minnesota Children’s Book Festival on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota. Nina will lead art activities for children in the “So You Want to Be an Illustrator” tent from noon to 2:30 PM. All materials will
    be provided and all ages are welcome.

    Tim Hoppey, author of The Good Fire Helmet, will be part of the Local Author Showcase on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Middle Country Public Library in Selden, New York. The Author Showcase features Long Island authors and gives them an opportunity to speak to library visitors of all ages. Copies of The Good Fire Helmet will be available, and Tim will sign books from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Eastern.
