A mom, teacher, and military spouse, Jennifer Rose Freeland is the watercolor artist for Duck & Rabbit ABC military adventure / Pato y Conejo ABC aventura militar (bilingual board book).
Jen has a BA in Biology and BA in Secondary Education from Boston College, as well as a Masters in Education from The College of New Jersey. She loves teaching high school students and has taught biological science in four states.
While raising her young family as an active-duty Air Force spouse, she shifted her focus to her watercolor art. In addition to illustrating children’s books, she sells prints and commissioned artwork online and at local markets. She combines her illustration and military lifestyle experience to connect, encourage, and empower children of service members.
