Elva Resa Audiobooks to Be Distributed Globally by Bookwire

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(St Paul/Frankfurt, August 2024)—Elva Resa Publishing, a leading independent publisher of military family life resources, has selected Bookwire, a leading global provider of digital distribution for ebooks and audiobooks, to be its exclusive audiobook distributor, expanding global access to quality military-connected resources.

“We are excited to launch our global military family life audiobook program with Bookwire,” said Elva Resa’s publisher Karen Pavlicin. “They have a great team and exceptional platform to accelerate the success of our digital content goals.”

Bookwire provides comprehensive global distribution and digital marketing in consumer, trade, wholesale, library, specialty, subscription, and streaming outlets as well as a best-in-class, cloud-based software system to complement Elva Resa’s existing metadata distribution via BooksoniX.

The first Elva Resa Digital audiobook of the new program will release October 15, 2024. Military Culture Shift: The Impact of War, Money, and Generational Perspective on Morale, Retention, and Leadership (audiobook) is narrated by author Corie Weathers, a clinical consultant and expert on military culture. Weathers trains and consults with military and policy leaders from a variety of institutions and organizations, including all US military service branches and the US Department of Defense.

Released in hardcover in November 2023 and recognized by the 2024 Senators Bob and Elizabeth Dole Biennial Award for Distinguished Book in Veterans Studies, Military Culture Shift has sparked new conversations within the Army War College, Air Command and Staff College, and National Defense University for future commanders as they prepare to take on leadership roles. The book’s message inspires leaders to reconstitute those weary from the Global War on Terror while motivating younger generations who bring new strengths and values to the force.

“Today’s leaders are consuming information faster than ever before, and they rely on the convenience of audible content to further their learning during commutes, physical training, and deployment,” says Weathers. “The expansion of this audiobook program now makes it possible for readers to be inspired by other voices in Elva Resa’s community of military-connected authors and advocates, shifting the military community toward positive change.”

The Elva Resa Digital audiobook program includes memoirs, personal growth, and a broad range of military family life topics. Beginning in 2025, the program will add children’s audio picture books.
