Award-winning author Jocelyn Green brings {Hi}Story to Life as she talks with readers and writers about how she approaches writing her historical fiction novels. She will talk at a special event at the Barnes & Noble's new store location in Woodbury, MN, on Sunday, July 28, 2–3 PM CST with book signing to follow. To reserve your seat, please RSVP no later than July 24. Seats are limited to the first 30 people who reserve tickets. Reserved ticket holders please arrive by 1:45 PM. Jocelyn’s talk will begin at 2:00. The booksigning is open to the public and will run from 3–4.

Terri Barnes, senior editor at Elva Resa Publishing, author of Spouse Calls: Messages From a Military Life, and editor of N is for Never Forget, is the keynote speaker for the 8th Annual Teacher Recertification Institute at the Patriots Point Institute of History, Science and Technology on June 11, 2019. Taking place aboard the USS Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina, the education conference is attended by K-12 teachers from across South Carolina.

Pavlicin-Fragnito Speaks at IBPA’s Publishing University, April 5-6, 2019

Karen Pavlicin-Fragnito, publisher at Elva Resa and a current Independent Book Publishers Association national board member, will speak on two panels at IBPA's Publishing University. She'll join other industry experts to discuss educational publishing and special sales markets. Both sessions are geared toward intermediate-experienced publishers.

The premier educational event for indie and author publishers, Pub U will be held April 5-6, 2019, with pre-conference sessions on April 4, in Chicago.
