Barnes Keynotes Patriots Point Teacher Recertification Institute June 11, 2019

Terri Barnes, senior editor at Elva Resa Publishing and author of Spouse Calls: Messages From a Military Life, is the keynote speaker for the 8th Annual Teacher Recertification Institute at the Patriots Point Institute of History, Science and Technology on June 11, 2019. Taking place aboard the USS Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina, the education conference is attended by K-12 teachers from across the state.

As editor of the book N is for Never Forget: POW–MIA A to Z, Terri will talk about preserving and understanding history through individual stories. N is for Never Forget, written by Nancy Polette, illustrated by Paul Dillon, is a collection of true stories of military service and sacrifice.

Copies of Spouse Calls and N is for Never Forget , as well as copies of Seasons of My Military Student: Practical Ideas for Parents and Teachers, will be available at the event. Main Street Reads will host the onsite bookstore. Terri will be available after the keynote to sign books.
