(St Paul, MN, May 13, 2022) — Elva Resa Publishing has selected five military teens to serve a one-year term on its Elva Resa Teen Advisory Committee (ER-TAC). Teens were nominated by organizations in the military and education communities for their exemplary communication skills and heart for service to their communities.
“Military kids and teens have been an integral part of the development and publication of resources for young military-connected audiences since 2004,” said Elva Resa publisher Karen Pavlicin. “The creation of the ER-TAC formalizes the opportunity for these young people to speak to what military teen life is like across service branches, geography, and age.”
ER-TAC members will share their military teen experiences and perspective, providing insight into military teen life today and advocating for resources that will best serve the military teen community.
They will meet monthly with Elva Resa editors and authors to discuss current projects, generate ideas, and provide feedback on books and other resources for military teens.
Through the ER-TAC, Elva Resa is proud to amplify military teen stories and to provide these exceptional young people with the opportunity to be a voice for their peers, share their ideas for possible publication, and influence military teen resources.
Meet our May 2022 – May 2023 Elva Resa Teen Advisory Committee:
Dannika, Shelby, Emily, Will, and Mina.
