Judy Davis, author of Right Side Up: Find Your Way When Military Life Turns You Upside Down, is a keynote speaker for the MilSpouseFest2017 event series. The first event takes place in San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 9 AM - 2 PM at The Veranda. Come join other military spouses for a day of fun, food, prizes, and community! Barnes & Noble, Oglethorpe Mall 7804 Abercorn Ext. 72, SavannahElva Resa author Corie Weathers, and her husband, Army Chaplain Matthew Weathers, will read together portions of Corie's book Sacred Spaces: My Journey to the Heart of Military Marriage at a booksigning event Sat., Feb. 11, 2017 at 2 PM Eastern. The event takes place at Barnes & Noble, Oglethorpe Mall, Savannah, GA. Copies of Sacred Spaces will be available for sale at Barnes & Noble during the event and Corie will sign purchased books following the reading.
Ft Stewart PWOC Hosts Valentine Event for Military Couples, Friday, February 10, 2017, 6-9 PM
Corie Weathers, author of Sacred Spaces: My Journey to the Heart of Military Marriage, and her husband, US Army Chaplain Matthew Weathers, are guest speakers at a special Valentine evening for military couples. Hosted by Fort Stewart PWOC, the event takes place Friday, February 10, 2017, 6-9 PM at the Fort Stewart Main Chapel. An Evening in Paris will be an elegant evening for military couples to celebrate their marriage, spend time with one another, and be reminded of the joy of their relationship. The event will be catered, with the 3ID Jazz Band performing. Tickets are $10 per couple and seating is limited.
