Davis Helps MilSpouses Rejuvenate Under Stress at USAA’s DigitalMilEx Sept 22-23, 2015

Judy Davis, author of Right Side Up: Find Your Way When Military Life Turns You Upside Down, is a featured speaker at the 2015 Annual USAA influencers conference, DigitalMilEx™, presenting on “Rejuvenation Under Stress—Family Perspective.” The event takes place September 22-23, 2015 at the Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade. Judy’s session focuses on helping military spouse entrepreneurs find balance for themselves and their families.

Lori McElrath-Eslick’s Art Showcased in Grand Rapids Sept 23-Oct 11, 2015

Illustrator Lori McElrath-Eslick's artwork is being showcased as part of ART Prize September 23—October 11, 2015, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lori's work on exhibit is an original oil on canvas painting published in the children's magazine Cricket. The painting illustrates a poem by Children's Poet Laureate, J. Patrick Lewis, titled "BALLAD FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. 1963." The painting is on exhibit in the front window of Oppenheimer & Co.

Barnes & Noble is hosting an Educator Appreciation Event featuring author Elizabeth Raum at 2 PM Sun., Oct. 11, 2015 at Barnes & Noble Store #2606 in Fargo. Elizabeth will talk about how she creates books for young readers, including historical nonfiction and fiction books. Copies of her picture book, Cedric and the Dragon, will be available for sale at the event.
