Corie Weathers Hosts Military Spouse Wellness Summit Oct 17-22, 2016

Corie Weathers, author of Sacred Spaces: My Journey to the Heart of Military Marriage will host the second annual Military Spouse Wellness Summit October 17-22, 2016. This online event includes ten guest expert interviews to listen to in the comfort of your home or on the go, plus an array of holistic marriage resources.

Organized by InDependent.org, this year’s summit focuses on how to achieve health and wellness independently in mind, body, and emotion, and thereby impact your military marriage.

The virtual event for military spouses starts Monday, October 17 and ends Friday, October 22. Saturday, October 23 is a bonus day, when InDependent will announce the grand prize winner of an amazing Ocean Getaway for Two grand prize, sponsored by the Military Benefit Association.

Each day, two expert interviews will arrive in your inbox. General Admission members (free) will be able to access these interviews only during the summit week. VIP members ($27) will have access to these interviews indefinitely. The only way you will have access to the interviews is by registering for the event. The interviews are accessible through your computer or mobile device and are designed for you to listen to at home or on the go.

  

A licensed professional counselor (LPC), your host Corie Weathers is a sought-after speaker, consultant, and author of the recently-released book Sacred Spaces: My Journey to the Heart of Military Marriage. Corie started her career as a counselor specializing in marriage, divorce, women’s issues, and substance abuse. She married a US Army chaplain and together they support service members and first-responder families. As the 2015 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year, Corie advocated for mental health issues and served as a media correspondent, consulting for command teams, and speaking to groups about issues like PTSD, grief, and marriage.
