Eckhart Performs at ASAP’s Performance With Purpose, DC Improv Comedy Club, Dec. 5, 2018

Navy spouse, speaker, and author Jacey Eckhart is a featured performer at Performance With Purpose: A Veterans Showcase on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the DC Improv Comedy Club, 1140 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC. The performance begins at 7:30 PM Eastern and is sponsored by the The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP).
Jacey is coauthor of Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life and the creator of the Next Door Project at JaceyEckhart.net.
General Admission Tickets are $40 and include admission to the show as well as access to food and drink for purchase. VIP Tickets are $150 and include admission to the VIP reception and show, open bar throughout the reception and show, and complimentary dinner. Doors open at 6 PM for VIP ticket holders to enjoy the pre-show reception, and doors open to general admission ticket holders at 6:45 PM.
This is ASAP’s first annual showcase of inspiring veterans, service members, military families, and caregivers who drive the military community. The special evening will feature USMC Veteran and National Book Award finalist, Elliot Ackerman, as well as alumni of the ASAP program:

> Storytelling 101: Michael Sainte-Andress (Navy), Spencer Sullivan (Army)
> Creative Writing: Jacey Eckhart (Navy spouse), Miles Crichlow (Army)
Through a peer selection process, these veteran artists have curated Performance With Purpose to spotlight the top performances that have emerged in 2018. The event is designed to provide veteran- and military-affiliated artists with a meaningful platform to share their creative work, generate awareness of the arts’ positive impact on veterans’ well-being, and raise significant funds to support ASAP’s future programs.
