Elva Resa Book Honored in Virtual Benjamin Franklin Award™ Ceremony, May 7, 2020, 4-6 PM PDT

Independent publishers across the United States will join together with other publishing professionals, authors, and book lovers to celebrate the best in independent book publishing at the “Shelter-in-Place” IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award™ Ceremony. 

The virtual event takes place via Webex in four mini online watch parties from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific, May 5th through May 8th, 2020. Each mini ceremony will celebrate a selection of the fifty-five award categories represented in the 32nd annual IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award™ program.

Elva Resa Publishing is among the publishers being honored. Its October 2019 release, Survivor’s Obligation: Navigating an Intentional Life by Chris Stricklin and Joel Neeb, is one of four finalists in the Autobiography & Memoir category, presented in the May 7 session.

For each category, one gold winner will be awarded, and the remaining finalists will receive silver honors.

All four virtual ceremonies are free and available to the public. Register to receive event login instructions. Registered attendees may attend any or all of the award presentations.

The IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award™ program for excellence in book publishing is regarded as one of the highest national honors for independent publishers, presented by Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).

The original award ceremony was scheduled to take place April 3rd, 2020 at Publishing University in Redondo Beach, California, but was cancelled due to concerns surrounding COVID-19.
