Jocelyn Green is the wife of a Coast Guard veteran and an award-winning author of several books. She wrote “Speaking the Same Language” in Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life. She says, “The lessons I learned about love languages changed my marriage, and they are so simple. I hope they help readers too!”
Jocelyn’s books include: Faith Deployed: Daily Encouragement for Military Wives; Faith Deployed…Again; Stories of Faith and Courage from the Home Front; Military Wives’ New Testament with Psalms & Proverbs; and The 5 Love Languages Military Edition with coauthor Gary Chapman.
She graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, with a B.A. in English, concentration in writing. She is a member of the Military Writers Society of America, Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, Christian Authors Network, and American Christian Fiction Writers. She speaks on a variety of topics, including faith and encouragement for military wives, military marriage, and inspiration from heroines of the Civil War.
She loves Mexican food, Broadway musicals, Toblerone chocolate bars, the color red, and reading on her patio. Jocelyn currently resides with her husband and two children in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
