Christine Thompson is an award-winning writer, entrepreneur, and health care enthusiast with a passion for helping others understand and navigate complex subjects.
She has received national awards for her work to develop engaging materials for initiatives in the public and private sector, including tools and resources for families of homicide victims, training curriculum for law enforcement, and materials to help people navigate the health care system.
Christine is a Minnesota native, currently employed as the director of creative programs for UnitedHealthcare based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In her day job, she builds programs and tools to increase access and engagement for health and wellness initiatives. She’s a graduate of the University of Minnesota. As a passionate fan of the water, she lives in the Lake Minnetonka area with her husband and their own merry band of critters, where she enjoys spending time on the water any way possible.
Scarlet Says Good-Bye is her first children’s book.
