Lori McElrath-Eslick’s Art Showcased in Grand Rapids Sept 23-Oct 11, 2015

Illustrator Lori McElrath-Eslick’s artwork is being showcased as part of ART Prize September 23—October 11, 2015, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
ART Prize is an art exhibit in downtown Grand Rapids. Local businesses pair up with artists to host a three-week art show, bringing art, music, and fun together in support of creativity.
Lori’s work on exhibit is an original oil on canvas painting published in the children’s magazine Cricket. The painting illustrates a poem by Children’s Poet Laureate, J. Patrick Lewis, titled “BALLAD FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. 1963.”
The painting is on exhibit in the front window of Oppenheimer & Co., directly across from the Amway Grand Hotel on Pearl Street in the window next to the river.
