Pavlicin-Fragnito Keynotes MN National Guard Family Readiness Training, March 28, 2015

Karen Pavlicin-Fragnito is the keynote speaker at the Minnesota National Guard Family Programs’ Family Readiness Annual Training, Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Breezy Point, Minnesota.

The family readiness training weekend offers commanders and other senior service member leaders and their spouses key training to effectively support military families. Workshops range from suicide resources to supporting geographically-dispersed family readiness groups.

Karen will share ideas for supporting military families, especially during deployment, reunion, and other military life challenges. She will also talk about the value of using stories, as one of the soft qualities of leadership, to connect families and create supportive communities.

Participants will receive a copy of Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life, written by more than forty military family writers.
