DESCRIPTION:Author Karen Pavlicin-Fragnito will sign copies of her multiple-award-winning children’s novel Summer of Courage at a celebration of Minnesota Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Published and Listed authors and illustrators (SCBWI-PAL). \nThe book signing\, featuring several Minnesota children’s authors with recent releases\, is open to the public and will take place Monday\, December 15\, 2014\, 7-9 PM Central\, in the atrium of the University of Minnesota’s Elmer L. Anderson Library\, 222 21st Avenue South\, Minneapolis\, MN 55455. The event was previously scheduled for Nov. 10 but rescheduled to Dec. 15 due to winter weather. \nThe event is cohosted by MN SCBWI and The Kerlan Collection\, Children’s Literature Research Collections\, an internationally recognized resource in the field of children’s literature. \nBooks will be available for sale at the event\, courtesy of The Red Balloon Bookshop.\n#MNSCBWIBookSigning \nSummer of Courage is a middle grade novel set in rural upstate New York\, where ten-year-old Andy spends the summer with Grandma.
