Books will be available for purchase. Hosted by Marine Corps Community Service\, the Front Porch event is part of a Marine Corps Fest gathering at Barnett Field (adjacent to Little Hall) on Marine Corps Base Quantico\, Virginia. \nKaren is one of two authors from the First Lady of the Marine Corps Recommended Reading List featured at the event. Shannon Maxwell\, author of My Daddy Is Invincible will also attend. \nFirst Lady of the Marine Corps Mrs. Bonnie Amos set up her Front Porch events to help build Esprit de Corps and networking among Marine families and to encourage families to “step off their front porch” and join the community. \nThe Quantico-NCA-Henderson Hall joint event is one of several Front Porch events at Marine bases around the world.
