DESCRIPTION:Stories Around the Table coauthors Chris Pape and Lori Volkman will lead a Stories Experience for Military Spouse of the Year (MSOY) Award recipients at the Military Spouse Magazine Town Hall on Thursday\, May 7\, 2015\, in Crystal City\, Virginia. \nThe Town Hall gives MSOY recipients an opportunity to learn about and discuss key issues affecting military spouses. All MSOY recipients from bases around the world are invited to attend. Each will receive a copy of the book Stories Around the Table: Laughter\, Wisdom\, and Strength in Military Life and a guide for leading Stories Experiences in their own communities. \nChris will talk about the importance of sharing personal stories and experience as a means of supporting fellow military spouses. This workshop will take the mystery out of the proposal-writing process and give a clear idea of what you need to submit first to agents and then to major publishing houses. There will be plenty of time for questions.
