Supporting Military-Connected Students and Their Families” on Monday\, August 31\, 2015\, 6–7:30 PM Pacific. \nThis webinar is presented by National University’s Leadership Center. Amanda is a National Board Certified Teacher\, program ambassador\, and military spouse who has experienced first-hand what it is like to move throughout the county as a military-connected family. Her unique perspective as both a teacher and a parent helps provide educators insights into how to support students and their families coping with the challenges of military life. \nYou will leave the webinar with specific strategies you can use in your classroom\, as well as recommendations you can take back to your school or district to help make important changes that can help better support these students and their families. \nYou will receive access instructions approximately 48 hours prior to the start of the event and again on the day of the webinar.
