Seasons of My Military Student Coauthors are Guests on Milspouse Matters

Amanda Trimillos, EdD, and Stacy Allsbrook-Huisman, coauthors of Seasons of My Military Student: Practical Ideas for Parents and Teachers, are guests on the podcast Milspouse Matters.

Amanda and Stacy talk to host Jen McDonald about helping military kids through transitions. They also discuss tips and ideas for Purple Up to Step Up, a new way for military kids to celebrate Month of the Military Child in April during the pandemic while sheltering at home.

“It was so fun to hear how they came together to write this important book that’s so helpful for military families and teachers alike,” says Jen. “They (have) great advice about how we can help our military kids through the transitions that go along with changing schools, settling into new routines, and the disruptions these students regularly face with military life.”
