Dillon Represents Museum on POW-MIA Day Sept. 20, 2019

Paul Dillon, illustrator of N is for Never Forget: POW-MIA A to Z, and director of the Jefferson Barracks POW-MIA Museum will represent the museum as it proclaims Missouri as the firstPOW-MIA State on September 20, 2019. The ceremony on POW-MIA Recognition Day is set for 1 PM Central at Jack C. Taylor Hall at the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum, 1315 Chestnut Street in St. Louis. Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft will receive the proclamation on behalf of Governor Mike Parson.

Secretary Ashcroft will receive a copy of N is for Never Forget and a challenge coin from the Jefferson Barracks POW-MIA Museum.

Colonel Brian Pearl, head of the European-Mediterranean Directorate of the Defense POW-MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), is the featured speaker for the ceremony. The mission of DPAA, which is featured in N is for Never Forget, is to recover missing personnel who are listed as prisoners of war or missing in action, from all past wars and conflicts and from countries around the world.

Pearl will also receive a copy of N is for Never Forget and a challenge coin from the museum.
