The group will meet 9:30–10:30 AM (CET) in three sessions: April 24, April 30, and May 7. Discussion topics include supporting military-connected students academically, socially, and emotionally, through moves, deployments, and other aspects of military life. Corie Weathers Leads Retreat for Women at JB Lewis-McCord, April 13-15, 2018
Corie Weathers, author of Sacred Spaces: My Journey to the Heart of Military Marriage, is the featured speaker for a Lifegiver Strengths women’s retreat, organized by the Protestant Women of the Chapel at Joint Base Lewis-McCord April 13 – 15, 2018. “We will discover together what we do well and how to find define our sense of purpose,” Corie says. While in Washington, Corie will also meet with members of a JBLM Sacred Spaces book club. The members have been reading and discussing her book, which is based on Corie's experiences with deployment and healing in her military marriage.
