Webinar for Educators Supporting Military-Connected Kids April 13, 2015

In honor of April Month of the Military Child, the National University-NBC Teacher Leadership Center is offering a free professional development online workshop, “Strategies That Work! Supporting Military Connected Students and Families.”

The webinar is hosted by Amanda Trimillos, author of “School Choices and Changes” in Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life. Amanda is a National Board Certified Teacher, military spouse, and mother of four.

This online workshop is designed to provide a foundation and understanding of the unique challenges military-connected students face throughout their education career and offers insight on how to best support students through these unique challenges. All educators and parent stakeholders are invited to attend.
