Sarah Smiley, coauthor of Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life talks with radio host Steve Bowers on “Prime Time Drive,” WNWS-FM Jackson/Memphis, live on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 4:15 PM Eastern.

Sarah is a Navy wife, Navy daughter, and syndicated columnist. For Stories Around the Table, she wrote “Taking My Medicine,” an essay about depression, and “Locations: Yours, Mine, and Ours,” about the choice she and her husband made to live in different zip codes. Her book Dinner With the Smileys is also about the power of sharing meals, as she and her three sons invited friends, neighbors, and strangers to fill her deployed husband’s seat at the dinner table for a year.
