Schellhaas Signs New Memoir at BEA May 13, 2016

May 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm CDT

Kristine Schellhaas, coauthor of Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life will sign copies of her new memoir 15 Years of War: How the Longest War in U.S. History Affected a Military Family in Love, Loss, and the Cost Of Service at BookExpo America (BEA) on Friday, May 13, 2016 12-12:30 PM Central in the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) Cooperative Booth 2229, McCormick Place, Chicago.

BEA is the largest publishing event in North America, attracting booksellers, librarians, educators, specialty retailers, and authors. IBPA is the largest publishing trade association in the US.

15 Years of War provides a unique he said/she said perspective on coping with war in modern-day America. It reveals a true account of how a dedicated Marine and his equally committed spouse faced unfathomable challenges and achieved triumph, from the days just before 9/11 through 15 years of training workups, deployments, and other separations.

This story of faith, love, and resilience offers insight into how a decade and a half of war has redefined what it means to be a military family.

Booksellers, librarians, and other BEA attendees are invited to come receive a complimentary signed copy of the book at the booth at noon.

BONUS:

Fans of Stories Around the Table: Laughter, Wisdom, and Strength in Military Life: If you bring your own copy of the book to the booth between Noon and 1 PM, coauthors Karen Pavlicin-Fragnito and Kristine Schellhaas will both be available to sign your book!
