“Ask an IBPA Board Member” with Pavlicin-Fragnito, Oct 8, 2019

Karen Pavlicin-Fragnito, founder and publisher at Elva Resa Publishing, will talk with members of the Independent Book Publishers Association on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 10 AM Pacific via webinar. Karen will talk about the advantages and challenges of niche publishing.
The “Ask an IBPA Board Member” webinar is free-of-charge; active IBPA membership is required to register.
The format is informal office hours. Each month, IBPA members meet and discuss book industry trends with a member of IBPA’s Board of Directors. The webinar series features a different IBPA Board member each month, ensuring IBPA members receive a unique point of view and information about different areas of expertise each time they join.
Karen is the featured board member for October. As an IBPA board member, Karen serves on IBPA’s Executive Committee, Editorial Advisory Committee, and other initiatives in support of the organization’s mission to lead and serve the independent publishing community through advocacy, education, and tools for success.
Elva Resa Publishing is a Minnesota-based traditional independent publisher whose primary imprint specializes in books for military families. Karen is also publisher of Books Make A Difference magazine and a sought-after international speaker and consultant.
Karen’s executive-level business experience spans 22+ years in book publishing, 12 years in magazine publishing, and 6 years directing a global corporate e-business program in 60+ countries.
