Nina Crittenden Draws With Children at MN Children’s Book Festival, Sept. 15, 2018

Nina Crittenden, illustrator of Cedric and the Dragon, will appear at the Minnesota Children’s Book Festival on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota. Nina will lead art activities for children in the “So You Want to Be an Illustrator” tent from noon to 2:30 PM. The tent provides a quiet place at the busy festival for kids to draw and color. Nina will bring coloring pages from her own artwork. Crayons, markers, and colored pencils will be provided, and all ages are welcome.
Nina’s books, including Cedric and the Dragon, Chicken Lily, and The Three Little Pugs will be available at the festival bookstore.
Free and open to the public, the festival features readings by authors, demonstrations by illustrators, book sales and signings, bookmaking workshops, and opportunities for children to meet one-on-one with authors and illustrators. Hosts of the event include the Red Wing Public Library and Mackin Educational Resources.
