Our primary imprint, Elva Resa, publishes books, newsletters, and workshop materials for and about military families. We work with military and and community organizations, family support groups, nonprofits, schools, health care companies, legislators, and many other groups to produce quality resources that support military family members of all ages and for all service branches. Please contact us for resource ideas for your next program or to inquire about customized products and services for your organization.
The purpose of our children’s imprint, Alma Little, is to bring a diverse world of possibilities and opportunities to children and to share our proceeds with organizations that help make those possibilities and opportunities a reality. Alma Little is a general interest children’s imprint and does not focus on military family lifestyle.
Our Juloya imprint publishes inspirational works that help people celebrate life–at work, play, and all aspects of their lives.
Due to the large number of queries we receive, we’ve changed our submissions policy to a call-for-manuscripts-only process for all three imprints. Please visit our submissions page for the current schedule and guidelines.
What does the name Elva Resa mean?
In a literal Swedish translation, “elva” means “eleven” and “resa” means “journey.” It has been said that entrepreneurs fail ten times before they succeed. When our founders were searching for a name for this new company, they drew from the heritage of an incredible Swedish woman (Gramma) and decided to begin with the eleventh journey.
